Mayrhofen is a town in the Zillertal (Ziller river valley) in the Austrian state of Tyrol. The ski slopes of Mayrhofen are predominantly rather steep and not particularly long making it a great place for experienced skiers who like to keep on the move. For the seriously adventurous skier there are 22 km of black runs including the steepest run in Austria.
